Digital Classifieds MMC is dedicated to the development, maintenance, and growth of 4 projects that serve as platforms for users to buy and sell cars, real estate, and various other products, as well as job placement in the local market: turbo.az, bina.az, tap.az, and boss.az. We are announcing a vacancy for the position of Junior System Administrator in Baku with the following requirements and conditions: Responsibilities: • Processing requests via the ticketing system; • Providing support to office staff and remote users; • Installation, configuration, and support of user and server software; • Supporting infrastructure, workstations, and network; • Participation in IT projects. Requirements: • Ability to perform software diagnostics; • Knowledge of network operation principles, the OSI model, TCP/IP protocol stack, and VPN; • Confident user at the administrator level in Windows and Mac OS; • Knowledge of Unix/Linux-based operating systems; • Experience with IP telephony (based on Asterisk); • Higher technical education; • Language proficiency: Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (intermediate); • Desire to work and grow in the field of information technology; • Communication skills, literacy, and attention to detail; • Relevant work experience is preferred. Conditions: • Office in the center of Baku; • Salary based on interview results. - Providing technical support for existing software
- Installation of SQL Server and performing basic operations in SQL Management Studio
- Database backup (full), restore, shrink, attach, and data import/export
- Ensuring stable and efficient performance of software over the network
- Load balancing and prevention of network conflicts
- Crimping RJ-45 Ethernet cable connectors
- Configuring initial settings for Windows Server operating systems
- Installation of required Windows components for SQL Server and other software
- Installation of Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 operating systems
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software-related issues
- Installation and uninstallation of language packs, antivirus software, and other programs
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Setting up Remote Desktop services for multiple users in local and global networks
- Providing technical assistance using remote support tools (TeamViewer, Radmin, Ammy Admin, AnyDesk, Alpemix, etc.)

* Theoretical and practical knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky, etc.) operating systems at an administration level;
* Experience with Active Directory (AD DS) – User/Group management, GPO, OU structure, DNS, DHCP;
* Practical knowledge of File Server, Print Server, and Share permission models;
* Virtualization technologies – VMware (ESXi, vCenter), VM provisioning, and resource management;
* Experience with backup solutions – Veeam or similar systems (backup policy, restore, DR scenarios);
* Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, VLAN, Subnetting, NAT, Firewall basics;
* Firewall and security systems – Experience with Fortigate, Sophos, Palo Alto, or similar solutions is preferred;
* Mail systems – Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (on-prem or Online);
* Monitoring tools – Experience with Zabbix, PRTG, or similar systems;
* Understanding of logging and auditing mechanisms;
* Knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS) and experience with LUN management;
* Experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) administration;
* Physical setup and initial configuration of system hardware;

Skills and Qualifications:
* Knowledge of network technology principles
* Skills in Distributed File System (DFS)
* Experience in configuring network equipment
* VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V technologies
* Setup, configuration, and management of Windows Server and Linux environments
* Development and testing of backup and restore strategies
* Administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file servers.
