• Warehouse Management System (WMS) Optimization: Oversee your Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure 100% real-time tracking of parts.
• Rack Planning and Strategy: Design storage areas based on "Part Velocity" (placing high-usage parts, such as tires/seats, closer to the conveyor entrance).
• Inventory Accuracy: Manage a "cycle count" program to ensure actual inventory matches ERP (1C/SAP) data without disrupting production.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance of forklifts, reach trucks, and scanning equipment.
• Safety and 5S: Implement strict industrial safety standards and the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Supervise, organize, and train warehouse staff, and ensure maximum warehouse efficiency by setting operational goals, monitoring performance, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Develop warehouse management systems by defining requirements for product handling and storage, equipment usage, inventory management, receiving and transfer processes, and shipping methods.
• Train and manage a team of warehouse staff to solve daily operational problems and achieve short-term and long-term productivity goals.
• Analyze and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocation, equipment placement, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by creating and maintaining standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
• Optimize the racking system to ensure high-volume parts are placed closer to the exit, while low-volume parts are placed further back.
• Implement a cycle inventory program to ensure physical inventory always matches data in the ERP system (1C/SAP) without the need to stop production.
• Manage the budget for warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, racks) and oversee the safety of all personnel.
• Ensure parts are processed from the "receiving dock" to the picking area within defined timeframes.
• Track and reduce losses (lost or damaged parts) and optimize storage density.
• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, labor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Plan and supervise the work of the warehouse team, managing workflow and quality to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and machinery, and oversee their maintenance when necessary.
• Hold regular meetings with warehouse supervisors to analyze productivity and develop action plans to prevent losses.
