Company Introduction: A cross-border international logistics company with extensive experience in China-Azerbaijan railway and road transport routes. Our core business includes cross-border container/full truckload/less-than-container load (LCL) freight, Azerbaijani customs clearance, cross-border freight transportation, and foreign trade logistics. We have long-term and stable partnerships with local Azerbaijani customs brokerage firms, trucking fleets, and logistics enterprises. We are currently hiring full-time office staff in Azerbaijan.
Job Title: Coordinator Specialist for Azerbaijani Customs Clearance
I. Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for coordination work related to Azerbaijani customs clearance and logistics transportation, including reviewing customs documents, resolving issues concerning land and rail logistics clearance, ensuring cargo compliance and legality, and mitigating risks associated with customs clearance and transportation.
2. Two-way communication: Liaising with colleagues in operations/sales both within Azerbaijan and at the Chinese headquarters, providing real-time feedback on the progress of customs clearance in Azerbaijan, customs policies, changes in freight rates, and cargo status (daily communication can be conducted via chat programs or email translation tools).
3. Maintaining relationships with local logistics partners, freight forwarding companies, customs brokers, and local clients in Azerbaijan, ensuring daily business communication and relationship management.
4. Responding to business inquiries from Chinese colleagues and local Azerbaijani clients regarding: shipment timelines, transportation routes, requirements for customs documents, freight procedures, shipping rates, and dispatch arrangements.
6. Organizing local customs clearance documents and transit books, reconciling accounts, archiving business documents, and cooperating with the Chinese team to complete the closed-loop cycle of freight shipments.
II. Job Requirements
1. Proficiency in Azerbaijani/Russian/English/Chinese is acceptable; experience in international logistics, customs clearance, foreign trade, and cross-border transport is an advantage.
2. Attentive, stable, possessing strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence, with a strong sense of responsibility and a solid work ethic.
3. Ability to work proficiently with office software, handle both online and offline work, and coordinate with the Chinese team despite time zone differences.
4. Candidates without industry experience but with strong learning abilities and a desire to be deeply involved in the logistics and customs clearance industry are also welcome to apply and will be trained.
III. Salary, Benefits, and Job Information
• Work location: Local office in Baku, Azerbaijan
• Employment type: Full-time, permanent position, long-term stable job
• Salary: 600-1000 AZN, lunch allowance, monthly salary paid on time + performance bonus + year-end bonus
• Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 17:30, excluding official holidays; relaxed working atmosphere, highly cooperative Chinese team, mature business processes, moderate work pressure.
