Job Description

Workplace: Baku, Azerbaijan

Salary: 1500 – 2000 AZN + bonuses (based on the candidate's knowledge and experience)

Work schedule: 6 working days

Advantages

Real work experience with Xerox / HP / Canon printers

Work experience in a service center

Handling certificates and service documents (orders, job cards)

Driving license is preferred (for mobile service tasks)

Responsibilities

Mechanics / Hardware Part

Diagnostics and repair of printers and MFPs (Multifunction Printers):

Paper feed system
Fuser
Paper path
Reducers / gears
Rollers, sensors
Cartridge mechanisms and carriages (in inkjet models)
Replacement of units and modules
Preventive maintenance, technical inspection, and calibration works
Resolution of recurring printing issues

Finding and resolving the causes of the following problems:
paper jams, noise, squeaking, sensor errors, overheating, poor fixation, etc.

Software / Network

Installation and configuration of printer and scanner drivers
Setting up network printing via USB / LAN / Wi-Fi
IP addressing, working with Web-interface
Setting up Address book, SMTP, Scan-to-Email, SMB (if necessary)
Firmware updates, resets, service modes (in accordance with manufacturer guidelines)
Troubleshooting based on error codes
Diagnostics of printing problems in Windows environment
(Knowledge of macOS / Linux is an advantage)

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the repair/service of printers and MFPs (or practical knowledge)

Knowledge of mechanics: paper path, fuser, sensors, transmission systems

Practical skills in software and networking

Ability to read and correctly analyze service errors and codes

Neat, responsible, and capable of clearly explaining completed work to the customer
