Network System Administrator

* Manage and optimize network infrastructure (Layer 2–3), including firewalls, switches, routers, APs, and controllers;
* Lead the end-to-end planning and implementation of new office/data center networks or critical architectural changes;
* Perform advanced configuration and troubleshooting for ACLs, VLANs, subnetting, and firewall best practices;
* Provide management and high-level support for telecommunication providers, DNS, DHCP, corporate Wi-Fi systems, service desk requests, structured cabling, and fiber optics;
* Independently manage large network-related projects such as automation, network refreshes, etc., from start to finish and mentor relevant teams;
* Document network configurations according to standards (rack layouts, port maps, CIDR ranges, VLANs, VPNs, switch configurations, routing tables, etc.);
* Monitor and detect unauthorized changes to network settings;
* Lead the deployment and configuration of new hardware for on-premise networks;
* Plan and execute mass firmware updates for IP phones, PBX, switches, routers, APs, etc.;
* Ensure regular maintenance of configuration and image backups;
* Possess advanced experience in the use and configuration of SD-WAN, VPN, and WAN technologies for multi-office, cloud, and on-premise integrated environments.

* Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or Fortinet NSE certifications are preferred;
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an additional advantage;
* Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues based on root cause analysis, with a specific focus on Cisco and Fortinet devices;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with users and team members;
* Knowledge and management experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG and Zabbix.

Required knowledge and skills:
* Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing, Switching, and VPN technologies
* Work experience with Cisco, HPE Aruba, FortiGate, and TP-Link network equipment
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Teamwork and effective communication skills
* Fluency in Azerbaijani; Russian and English skills are preferred
* At least 1-3 years of work experience in the field

Technical skills:
* Knowledge and work experience with NGFWs (PaloAlto);
* Knowledge and work experience with Local Traffic Manager (F5 BIG-IP LTM);
* Knowledge and work experience with Cisco SD-WAN technology (preferred);
* Knowledge and work experience with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and IOS-XE;
* Knowledge of wireless networks;
* Work experience with Unify controllers and access points;
* Knowledge of VoIP;
* Work experience with Zabbix and PRTG monitoring systems;
* TCP/IP;
* Routing and Switching protocols;
* English language (technical level).
